, the $275 billion asset management business of Prudential, has appointed Ioannis Kampouris as head of quantitative strategies.

Kampouris, who is based in Singapore, will report to Vis Nayar, chief investment officer of Eastspring Investments.

Previously, he worked at HSBC Asset Management in the UK, where he served as co-head of quantitative equity strategies and oversaw the firm’s global quantitative capability. Kampouris holds an MSc in computational statistics and machine learning from University College London and an MEng in computer engineering and informatics from the University of Patras, Greece.
